SOMA Sports — Privacy Policy

SOMA Sports (the "App") is provided by SPC Nutrition GmbH ("SOMA," "we," "us"). This policy explains what data the App collects, why, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
- Account information. Name and email address when you create an account.
- Health and fitness data. If you grant permission, we read fitness and activity data (such as steps and workouts) from Apple HealthKit to power challenges and progress tracking. This only happens with your explicit permission via iOS, and you can revoke it anytime in Settings.
- Challenge and activity data. Challenges you join, your progress, and Gold you earn.
- Nutrition Calculator inputs. Information you enter to get dish/drink recommendations.
- Rewards data. Your Gold balance and redemption history.
- Device and usage data. We use Branch to support referral/install links, and OneSignal to deliver push notifications. Both may process basic device identifiers to do this.
- Communications. If you contact us for support.
How we use this information
To provide the App's core features: challenges, Gold rewards, nutrition recommendations, and push notifications about your activity. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share data only as needed to run the App:
- Supabase (our backend/database provider) hosts your account and app data.
- OneSignal delivers push notifications.
- Branch supports referral and install links.
- Apple HealthKit, only if you grant permission.
- Once online ordering launches, delivery partners (e.g. Lieferando, Foodora) receive only the order details needed to fulfill a redeemed reward.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we're required to keep it (e.g. for legal or tax reasons).
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to or restrict our processing, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Account deletion
You can delete your account and associated data directly in the App under Profile.
Children's privacy
SOMA is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
